Hi Chris, Below is a drum set I read about that is for sale for 175.00 Do you think it is a good deal? Thanks, Debbie
Starcaster by Fender Beginner Drum Set
This is a Starcaster by Fender beginner drum set. For being a starter kit it has high quality, heavy duty hardware and fantastic looking drums. This set consists of: one 22” bass drum, 12 and 13” rack toms, a matching 5.5 x 14” snare drum, a 16” floor tom plus a hi-hat stand, snare stand, cymbal stand, bass drum pedal and two cymbals. Everything you need is here (except a stool, the one pictured is not included) including a set of sticks and a drum key plus illustrated instructions for easy set up. This is a full professional sized set, not a toy. Any drummer, from beginner to advanced, can play this set and be proud to own. The Fender name carries with it quality and durability. This set was a floor model or store return. We have replaced the snare head as it was broken. We have the drums put together with the heads already on, you will just need to set it up. When they come in the box (which these don't) you have to assemble them from the heads on, we've made it easy for you.

Wow. I stand corrected. Looks like Fender does indeed make drumsets. You can get them at Sam's Club! For this reason alone, I would stay away. So far they have used the name "Starcaster" for 2 different guitars and now this drum set. Weird.
